Presentations

Oral presentations have a 15 minutes slot (including a short discussion). Please prepare a PowerPoint (or PDF) presentation that lasts for up to 12 minutes maximum to allow 3 minutes for discussion after your talk. We will give you a warning at 10 minutes so you have two minutes to wrap up. We have to be very strict about timing and will need to stop you when your 12 minutes are up even if you have not finished.

The authors are kindly asked to upload (USB Flash Drive) their presentations directly within 30 minutes preceding the actual time block of the session starts. A lecture room assistant will be available for any help. Please save the PowerPoint presentation file with “session number_author” to minimize the trouble on site.

Poster size must not exceed 110 (height) x 80 (width) cm. Materials must be easily read at a distance of 1.5 m. Poster should have a logical organization (Title, Authors and affiliations below the title, Background, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion).

Best Poster Award The Best Poster prize will be awarded to the best poster presentation given by a young scientist (<= 35 year old) as corresponding author.

Scientists willing to apply can download the mark here to be included into their poster. All attendees are eligible for voting during the traditional poster session. Selections will be based on the level of the research (originality, quality of methodology, execution and interpretation), quality of the poster (graphical presentation), and clarity of the presentation (ability to convey the research to the audience, presenter’s quality of communication). Corresponding authors must be registered for the conference and attending the session, in order to answer questions
